Of all the STARZ ENCORE channels I have watched, STARZ ENCORE Action was probably the one I watched the most. I enjoy action-adventure movies and thrillers, and this channel did a good job of delivering the type of movies I wanted to watch.

For me, this was one of the better ENCORE channels because its movie mix lined up closely with the kinds of films I enjoy watching.

STARZ ENCORE Action was probably my favorite channel in the STARZ ENCORE lineup. I have always enjoyed action-adventure movies and thrillers, and this channel consistently gave me the kind of movies I wanted to watch.
Its biggest weakness is the same one I have noticed with ENCORE in general: many of the movies are several years old rather than current releases. Even so, STARZ ENCORE Action did this genre right. The commercial-free presentation, variety of action-related movies, and simple linear-TV format made it a channel I enjoyed for what it was.
If STARZ ENCORE Action is already included in your package, I think action fans should definitely check the schedule and give it a try. If you have to pay extra, look over several days of programming first and make sure the overall STARZ or STARZ ENCORE package gives you enough value.
